What is meant by load class B125?

Class B125, defined by the European standard UNI EN 124, certifies that the device is structured to withstand a test load of 125 kN (approx. 12.5 tons). It is the appropriate and mandatory category for pedestrian areas, pavements, cycle paths, and parking areas for private cars only.

How is the odor tightness configured with the "U" seat?

The frame integrates a perimeter "U"-shaped channel. By filling this space with fine sand or equivalent sealing materials (such as thick grease) before inserting the lid, a physical barrier is formed that prevents the gases present in the pit from rising to the surface.

Is a special proprietary key needed to remove the lid?

Description

The ductile iron manhole cover with square lid h638_169 is a compact covering device, designed to offer an excellent combination of mechanical strength, practicality, and safety in urban and residential areas with light traffic. Made of high-quality GJS-500-7 ductile iron in full compliance with the EN 1563 standard, the product is certified in load class B125 according to the European UNI EN 124 standards (breaking load up to 12.5 tons). The structure features a 30x30 cm square frame equipped with a shaped perimeter flange and pre-drilled holes for stable anchoring to the foundation via anchor bolts. To ensure maximum hygienic insulation, it integrates an internal "U"-shaped seat which, when filled with sand or inert materials, blocks the rise of foul odors from the pit. The square lid fits in a guided and unique way thanks to the rounded internal corners and offers an embossed surface with non-slip reliefs.

Take delivery

Upon delivery of the goods the customer is required to inspect:

The number of packages delivered is as indicated in the transport document
The packaging is intact and not altered even in the closing strip

In case of tampering and / or breaks the customer will immediately challenge the shipment and / or delivery putting the word "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR GOODS ....." (give reasons) on the delivery receipt from the courier.

The customer then must report any damage within 7 (seven) days of receipt of goods in the manner prescribed by the operator chosen for the expedition. In case the customer fails to collect within 2 (two) working days of the goods ordered and present in storage at the warehouses of courier and / or the Company due to the repeated inability to deliver to the address specified by the customer with the order, will return the goods to stores in Namiti Ltd., with charge to the account of charges for transport and storage of goods, the customer may request a new shipment of the goods, upon payment of these expenses and the new shipping cost.
