How is odor tightness configured with the "U" seat?

The "U" seat is a perimeter channel integrated into the frame. By filling this groove with fine sand, special grease or plastic sealants before inserting the cover, a continuous blind joint is formed that prevents gases in the manhole from rising to the surface.

Are the bolts for fixing the lid included?

Yes, the manhole cover is supplied complete with all the bolts necessary for the safe and stable tightening of the rectangular lid to the frame, guaranteeing the factory anti-accidental opening configuration.

Is it possible to request customization with the company logo?

Certainly. The lid has a specific central smooth flat area, designed to accommodate lettering, utility codes (e.g. Sewerage, Aqueduct, Technological Networks) or personalized logos for suitable order batches.

Description

The h638_161 ductile iron manhole cover is a high-resistance rectangular crowning device, specifically designed to withstand the maximum dynamic stresses of main roads and industrial areas. Made of high-grade GJS-500-7 ductile iron in compliance with the EN 1563 standard, this model is certified in loading class D400, ideal for environments with frequent traffic of trucks, buses and heavy vehicles (breaking load exceeding 400 kN). The rectangular frame is composed of two half-frames bolted together which increase stability and facilitate installation. Anchoring is optimized by a large shaped perimeter flange with rounded corners and reinforcing ribs. The lid is firmly locked via a bolt fixing system that prevents accidental openings caused by strong vibrations, while the internal "U" seat guarantees excellent airtightness against gases and bad odors from the sewage network.

Paying by credit transfer the order will be handled only after a bank credit receiving confirmation.

Take delivery

Upon delivery of the goods the customer is required to inspect:

The number of packages delivered is as indicated in the transport document
The packaging is intact and not altered even in the closing strip

In case of tampering and / or breaks the customer will immediately challenge the shipment and / or delivery putting the word "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR GOODS ....." (give reasons) on the delivery receipt from the courier.

The customer then must report any damage within 7 (seven) days of receipt of goods in the manner prescribed by the operator chosen for the expedition.
