• Material protection: the closed doors allow for keeping sensitive or spare materials away from dust and out of children’s sight.
• Autonomy development: the open side compartment allows young users to pick up and put back toys independently, stimulating responsibility and order.
• Spatial efficiency: the depth of 45 cm and the horizontal development of 100 cm optimize the floor space even in small-sized classrooms.
• Operational safety: the choice of fixed shelves eliminates the risk of shelves accidentally falling during intensive use by children.
• Management flexibility: the combination of open and closed spaces allows educators to differentiate between free-access materials and supervised aids.

The unit is specifically indicated for the furnishing of nursery sections, preschools and kindergartens. Its configuration also makes it suitable for extra-curricular contexts such as playrooms, children’s libraries, recreational centers and play corners within hospitality or pediatric healthcare facilities, where orderly management of books and toys is required.

This cabinet represents the right choice when there is a need to reconcile the requirement for protected storage with the need for accessible utility shelving. Compared to fully closed models, the open side module offers an immediate advantage in the rotation of educational materials. It is particularly suitable for facilities that promote children’s independence, as the 100 cm height makes every shelf safely reachable, while maintaining a useful top surface for temporary storage of documents or objects out of reach by the teaching staff.

What is the advantage of the open side compartment compared to a traditional cabinet?

The side compartment acts as an accessible display that encourages children to manage their own materials without constant adult intervention, facilitating active teaching compared to a fully closed cabinet.

Can the internal shelves be adjusted in height?

No, the shelves are fixed to ensure maximum stability and integrity of the structure, preventing deformations or accidents due to the frequent loading of books and toys.

Is the product compliant with safety regulations for school furniture?

Yes, the unit is designed following the performance and safety requirements for school furniture intended for early childhood, with particular attention to stability and the quality of materials for continuous professional use.
