User benefits
Certified hygiene: the use of stainless steel allows the use of aggressive hospital detergents without the risk of oxidation or surface degradation.
Operational safety: the 5-spoke base with a lowered center of gravity minimizes the risk of accidental falls even during rapid movements.
Millimetric customization: the absence of predetermined heights allows setting the exact hydrostatic head for each type of infusion.
Logistics efficiency: the foldable hooks reduce the device’s bulk, facilitating storage in tight spaces or passage through crowded corridors.
Stationary stability: the two braked wheels ensure firm positioning of the support even on floors with slight slopes.
Scope of application
The device finds elective application in inpatient wards, operating theaters and intensive care units. It is also widely used in dialysis centers, oncology clinics and emergency rooms. The wheeled configuration makes it suitable for patient support during assisted walking or intra-hospital transfer between different diagnostic departments.
Why choose it
This model represents the correct choice when it is necessary to combine the durability of stainless steel with the maneuverability of an anti-shock ABS base. Compared to fixed-hook models, the version with foldable hooks prevents accidental injuries to personnel and damage to surrounding equipment during fast movements. It is the ideal support for facilities that require a device compliant with the highest Class I safety standards and that need minimal long-term maintenance.
FAQ
What is the advantage of stainless steel compared to chrome-plated models?
Stainless steel is an inert material resistant to corrosion throughout its thickness, unlike chrome plating which can chip or rust over time, compromising the hygienic integrity of the device in a sterile environment.
Can the pole support electromedical infusion pumps?
The pole is designed for a total load of 6 kg. If you wish to mount infusion pumps on the vertical upright, you must ensure that the overall weight and positioning do not compromise the stability of the 5-spoke base.
What safety standards does this support meet?
The product is fully compliant with Directive 93/42/EEC and Legislative Decree 46/97, classified as a Class I non-invasive medical device, guaranteeing compliance with the essential safety and performance requirements provided by law.
