How to choose an ice-cream display cabinet


Before buying an ice-cream counter, you need to evaluate certain points:

  • the cabinet size: it needs to be in proportion to the available space of your bar;

  • the capacity: how many bowls it is able to contain;

  • energy consumption and power;

  • the counter material: hygienic and easy to clean;

  • the bowls; type, in accordance to Gastronorm standards, capacity, easy to extract and clean;

  • with covered ice-cream: containers type, hermetic lid closure, material;

  • the ice-cream case temperature must be -18°C or lower;

  • cooling system type.



Some of the ice-cream cabinets are equipped with interior lighting and electric thermostat. It is also important to pay attention to the ice-cream counter aesthetic looks.
