User benefits
Maneuverability in narrow spaces: The telescopic handles and compact dimensions allow passage through particularly narrow corridors and stairs.
High operating capacity: The steel structure supports loads up to 180 kg, ensuring versatility for every type of patient.
Safety during stops: The rear wheels equipped with brakes allow the chair to be stabilized on inclined surfaces, preventing accidental movements.
Ease of sanitization: The PVC covers allow for rapid cleaning with standard detergents, fundamental for maintaining hygiene protocols.
Ergonomic comfort: The soft backrest and semi-rigid seat reduce physical stress for the patient during transport.
Storage optimization: The folding system reduces the footprint to only 310 mm in thickness, facilitating storage on rescue vehicles.
Scope of application
This transit chair is indicated for emergency medical transport and assistance in HoReCa or civil environments. It is the ideal tool for paramedic staff, rescuers, and home care workers who must face architectural barriers such as narrow apartment stairs, cramped elevators, or irregular outdoor paths. It finds optimal use within ambulances, clinics, and care facilities.
Why choose it
It is the right choice when a device is needed that balances a minimum tare weight with a load capacity superior to market standards. Unlike fixed models, the folding configuration and telescopic handles solve the logistical problems related to manual transport on multiple floors. The operational requirements include the need for a certified device (10G) that guarantees maximum mechanical resistance under stress, making it preferable in intensive rescue scenarios.
FAQ
How does this transit chair differ from standard non-folding models?
This model allows to drastically reduce the footprint when not in use, reaching only 310 mm in depth, facilitating storage in small spaces without compromising the structural stability of the steel frame.
What does the 10G certification indicated in the technical specifications imply?
The 10G certification attests that the device has been designed and tested to withstand inertial stresses equal to ten times the acceleration of gravity, guaranteeing the strength of the materials and fastening systems even in the event of sudden impacts or decelerations.
Is it possible to use the chair on irregular outdoor terrain?
Yes, the presence of 150 mm rear wheels and 100 mm swivel front wheels facilitates overcoming small obstacles, while the telescopic handles offer operators the necessary leverage to manage the load safely.
