Size 3 school desks are workstations with a tabletop approximately 59 cm from the floor, designed for students of a height compatible with this size class. They are primarily used in elementary schools and must be paired with a chair of the appropriate size. The Holity range includes single- and double-seater models, with or without a lower tabletop, and with various tabletop configurations.
Size 3 identifies a measurement provided by the UNI EN 1729 dimensional system for school tables and chairs. For tables, this corresponds to a tabletop height of approximately 59 cm.
However, it does not specify a mandatory grade or a specific age. The choice should be based primarily on the students' height and compatibility with the chair used.
For some Holity Size 3 products, a height range without shoes is indicated between approximately 119 and 142 cm. This makes this measurement particularly relevant for many elementary school students.
Age and school year can only serve as an initial reference: different sizes may be needed in the same class when students' heights are very different.
The approximately 59 cm high desk should be paired with a Size 3 school chair, typically with the seat positioned approximately 35 cm from the floor. The desk and chair should be considered a single workstation.

The single-seater gives each student an independent station and makes it easier to change the classroom layout. In the Holity filter, this is the most common configuration, and many models use a tabletop measuring approximately 70 x 50 cm.
Size 3 double desks are also available, ideal when sharing a workstation for two students is preferred. The choice depends on available space, number of students, and classroom layout.

The footrest is only available on some models. It can provide additional support, but it's no substitute for choosing the right size desk and chair.
