How are belt barriers made?
Belt barriers feature the belt exit at the top of the structure, in addition to clips for attaching belts coming from other posts or wall-mounted belt reels. This allows for the creation of not only linear paths but also more complex routes of various lengths based on the flow of people to be managed.
Length and characteristics of the belt
1. Length
Barrier belts are available in different lengths. In particular, the length of the belt will also depend on the characteristics of the structure: a robust post with a sufficiently large base is suitable for housing even very long belts; smaller and less stable posts require a shorter belt to avoid the risk of not being able to withstand the belt tension.
2. Retractable and/or self-braking belt
In addition to being available in various lengths, the belt can also be retractable and/or self-braking.
A retractable belt rolls up on itself automatically via a return movement, until it completely disappears into the structure.
A self-braking belt returns inward slowly to avoid damaging nearby objects or people.
3. Belt colors and customization
The belt can be of various colors: ranging from classic black, to red, blue, yellow models, and even striped ones.
