The H638_178 circular road manhole cover is made of GJS-500-7 spheroidal graphite cast iron complying with the EN 1563 standard and designed according to UNI EN 124 standards. It belongs to load class D400, making it suitable for roads, areas subject to intense vehicle traffic, and industrial zones where high mechanical resistance is required.
The frustoconical frame is equipped with a continuous external peripheral flange, designed to ensure a firm anchoring to the foundation, and a ring for fixing the anchoring chain of the cover. The safety chain prevents the loss of the cover and facilitates its management during maintenance operations.
The circular cover features a slot for a lifting key, a ring for fixing the chain, a space dedicated to any lettering or logos (e.g., contracting authority), and non-slip embossments uniformly distributed to ensure pedestrian safety and complete water runoff.
