The vertical bike rack h19141 represents a professional and robust solution for organizing bicycle parking in high-density contexts. Designed to meet the needs of public bodies, apartment buildings, schools and railway stations, this rack solves the problem of disorder and instability of two-wheeled vehicles in areas subject to constant commuter flows. The structure is designed for permanent anchoring through inground mounting, ensuring superior stability and optimal resistance against removal attempts or accidental impacts.
Made with two galvanized steel tube posts and finished with elegant spherical aluminum knobs, the rack combines technical functionality with a refined design that integrates harmoniously into urban furniture. Protection by powder coating in Micaceous Grey finish ensures an effective barrier against corrosion and atmospheric agents, extending the life cycle of the product even in outdoor environments exposed to rain and humidity.
Technical features
Available configurations: 4, 5 or 6 bike space models.
Dimensions (L x D x H): mm 1600/2000/2400 x 150 x 1060.
Structure material: galvanized and powder-coated steel.
Surface finish: Micaceous Grey.
Load-bearing posts diameter: mm 76.
Horizontal tubular dimensions: mm 250 x 250.
Fixing system: to be buried directly in the ground (inground mounting).
Structural stability: the inground fixing system eliminates oscillations and guarantees maximum safety against the tipping of the bikes.
Corrosion resistance: the combination of galvanizing and powder coating prevents the formation of rust, reducing maintenance costs in the long term.
Space optimization: the vertical development and linear design allow for the ordering of more vehicles in restricted areas such as sidewalks or station access zones.
Immediate installation: the supply of the product already assembled reduces installation times and labor costs on site.
Aesthetic integration: the micaceous grey finish and spherical terminals offer a sober and professional visual impact suitable for historic centers and parks.
Scope of application
This rack is designed specifically for furnishing public spaces and urban areas where the permanence of vehicles is prolonged and requires secure parking systems. It is the ideal choice for areas in front of railway stations or bus terminals, where commuters need a stable support for daily parking. It also finds optimal application within apartment courtyards and school complexes, organizing the flow of bicycles in common spaces. Thanks to its reinforced structure, it is suitable for installation in public parks and pedestrian zones, ensuring urban order and decorum.
Why Choose It
Choosing this model is the correct decision when the primary goal is long-term durability in unsupervised contexts. Unlike surface-mounted models, the inground configuration offers superior mechanical resistance, making it almost impossible to remove without invasive interventions on the ground. It is the recommended solution for urban redevelopment projects that require high quality standards and a design that is not purely industrial, but contributes to the aesthetic value of the surrounding architectural context.
FAQ
What is the practical difference between inground mounting and surface bolt-down mounting?
Inground mounting involves inserting the posts directly into the ground or concrete, offering permanent stability and greater resistance to impacts or forced removal attempts compared to installation with surface bolts.
Is the bike rack resistant to rain and salt air?
Yes, the galvanizing treatment coupled with powder coating creates a protective layer that shields the steel from oxidation, making the structure suitable for continuous exposure to atmospheric agents without structural deterioration.
Is it possible to install the bike rack on grass or unpaved ground?
To ensure correct stability, it is necessary to prepare a concrete plinth under each post during inground mounting, ensuring that the rack remains aligned and does not sink or tilt with the weight of the bicycles.
