Eyewash stations must be capable of delivering aerated washing liquid from the nozzles with a flow aerator, with a flow rate of no less than 6 l/min at a pressure of 2 bar for 15 minutes, so that both eyes are washed simultaneously. According to regulations, the equipment must be positioned so that the nozzles are at a height between 800 and 1,150 mm from the floor.
